Job Description: Part-time Bookkeeper

Got a love for nature and a love for numbers? We are looking for an EXPERIENCED BOOKKEEPER to keep our business office in order. If you’re experienced in the non-profit world and have a sense of humor, a love of kids, and an eye for detail, please take a look at this part-time job description!

Has your Scout group visited the Center?

Check out our Scout Program offerings, and give us a call.  We'd love to have you visit the Center or complete a service project in Russ Pitman Park.

These Daisy Scouts recently visited the Center for a tour of Russ Pitman Park and a trip up to the Discovery Rooms. Here they are looking for life under logs with Ms. Anne.

  Psst ... We've Got a Secret!

altWe've been awarded the Macaroni Kid Gold Daisy Award for being voted the Best Kept Secret in SW Houston/Fort Bend! The cat is out of the bag!  Feel free to share our "secret" and spread the word about the programs and special events we offer at the Nature Discovery Center.  It is time that the Greater Houston community finds out what a treasure they have in the Center and Russ Pitman Park!
