30th Annual Bellaire Home Tour

We are very excited about the upcoming Home Tour, our 30th Anniversary!

The Center is very lucky to have Linda Miner, a Broker Associate with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Anderson Properties, chairing the Tour for the third time.  We have already found four homes for the tour, and Linda is currently scouting for additional Bellaire area homes that reflect our diversity, creativity, and sense of style.  The homes chosen for the Home Tour are exquisite and provide an excellent opportunity for their owners to give back to our community by directly supporting the Nature Discovery Center.

Working with Linda Miner is Sarah Flournoy, Executive Director of the Nature Discovery Center.  Linda and Sarah will be working to promote awareness of the Center and how this hands-on learning facility can benefit people of all ages by teaching them how to understand the simplicity of all living things and how they affect our environment.

Ticket Purchases:  Discounted advance purchase tickets will be available at the Nature Discovery Center, 7112 Newcastle, Bellaire and are usually sold at Belden's, Bering's Hardware, Elaine's Florist, Fioza's, Magpies, and Whole Foods Market-Bellaire.  During the Tour, full price tickets may be purchased at any of the homes on the tour.

Tour Brochure and Map:  A brochure will be provided at each of the homes on the day of the tour, with a large map covering the two center pages, which will help you locate the homes.

Bellaire Home Tour Volunteer Opportunities for Adults

Volunteers Needed:  Approximately 50 people per shift on the day of the event

Volunteer Shifts:  1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. both days

Volunteer Positions:  Volunteers help guide visitors through tour homes, sell tickets and pass out brochures and other materials.
