Family Fun Evening

Our 2011 Family Fun Evening was cancelled so that we could bring you and your family a special Movie Night in Russ Pitman Park on Friday, June 3rd.

Date:  TBA, June 2012
Time:  5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Families come for an evening of fun at the Nature Discovery Center. Activities include: moon bounce, Spin-Art, putt-putt, face painting, the Discovery Rooms, and a Toddler Zone. Free snacks and drinks are available, too. Generously sponsored by ACME Party & Tent Rental– there is something here for everyone!

Volunteer Opportunities for Teens and Adults

Volunteers Needed:  about 20 people per shift

Volunteer Shifts:  4:30 – 6:30 p.m. or 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Volunteer Positions:  You can help youngsters play safely on the Moon Bounce; assist them to make colorful creations at the Spin Art table or crush cans for recycling; you can take a turn at face painting or supervising the games (putt-putt, ring toss, etc.) or bubble blowing center. Help visitors enjoy the Discovery Rooms or tell stories in the Toddler Zone.  Volunteers also hand out popcorn, sno-cones, cotton candy, hot dogs, and drinks.
