Tickets and Prices
Admission is free.
Individual tickets are $0.50. About 18 different festival games are just 1 ticket each. Crafts, activities, and larger attractions can be 4 or 6 tickets each.
Pumpkin Passes are $20 and can be used for games, activities, crafts, some food/drinks, and pumpkins. You get $21 worth of tickets and do not have to carry a stack of tickets!
Food prices range from 2 tickets for popcorn, soda and water, to 4 tickets/slice for pizza, to 7 tickets per Chick-fil-A Sandwich (available only on Saturday). Sno balls sold by an outside vendor generally cost 6 - 9 tickets. Food truck pricing varies.
Pumpkin prices vary depending on the size. Final pricing normally won't be known until the evening prior. Generally they run $3 - $8.
Parallel parking is available in the green strip that runs along Newcastle in front of the park. Parking is also available on side streets across Newcastle to the east (Lula, Betty, Jim West, Wendell, etc.), and down Evergreen to the south and down Oleander to the north. The Nature Discovery Center/Russ Pitman Park north and south end parking lots will be closed during this event.
FREE event parking at Bellaire United Methodist Church (corner of Newcastle and Bellaire Blvd) is available via a shuttle service. Donations are welcome but not required.
Event Volunteer Opportunities for Teens and Adults
Volunteer Shifts: 3-hour shifts of 10:30 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. OR 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. each day (Saturday and Sunday).
Volunteers Needed: Approximately 40 people per shift. Volunteers range in age from 12 to 80.
Volunteer Positions: Volunteers lead games, organize craft stations, help children win prizes, take tickets, sell pumpkins, and other duties. Early shift helps set up and late shift helps clean up.
