For over 20 years our mission has been to ignite life-long curiosity, understanding, and respect for nature through education. Our approach to learning is designed to nurture the inquiring mind, awaken children's natural curiosity and sense of wonder, and spark interest in the study of nature and science. The Nature Discovery Center offers science and nature programs for children, educators, and other adults. Our Discovery Rooms, filled with live animals, specimens, and interactive science exhibits, are open free of charge six days a week to children and their families.
