Plants in the Park

Russ Pitman Park is mosaic of tall trees and grassy lawns in the process of becoming a showcase of regional native habitats featuring native flowers, trees, bushes, shrubs and grasses that will provide a rich environment for our native wildlife: butterflies and other insects, birds, squirrels, turtles and more. Check out the Pocket Prairie and watch the young saplings as they grow. We will keep you informed about our plans and progress. We would love to have you join us if you would like.
