Park After Dark Walks in Russ Pitman Park

Come learn about the animals that are out and about in Russ Pitman Park once the sun goes down. Sign up you and your family for one of our night walks today and join us for a guided night walk through the park. These night “hikes” are perfect for adults and children ages 4 and up.

Go ahead and mark your calendars for the following upcoming walks.

March 23 - Nocturnal Mammals (Raccoons, Flying Squirrels, and Bats) at 7:30pm
April 20 - Night Sounds at 7:30pm
May 18 - Owl Prowl at 7:30pm

Our night walks begin at the Nature Discovery Center. Programs include an introduction to the animals we are likely to find and the best ways to find them, followed by a guided exploration through the park.

Bring: Mosquito repellant and a flashlight (for adult use only)

Reservations Required. Cost: $5/person

Note: Please do not leave valuables in your car. The Nature Discovery Center is not responsible for any unattended items left in vehicles in our parking lot.
