Pumpkin Patch 2011Saturday, October 15 and Sunday, October 16, 2011 Note: Though this event is usually the 2nd weekend in October every year, in 2011 we will be moving our Pumpkin Patch to the third weekend so that our event will not conflict with Yom Kippur. Two days of fall festival fun! RAIN OR SHINE Come visit our 18th Annual Pumpkin Patch at the Nature Discovery Center. You and your family can come pick out the perfect pumpkin for your front porch, enjoy kid's games and moonbounces in a carnival atmosphere, and more! Older kids can test their climbing skills on a rock climbing wall attraction. This annual festival is a great, safe place for family fun, food, and games - and the pumpkins on the lawn provide great photo opportunities. While you're here you can paint a tombstone, have your face painted, or cross the devil's rope bridge...if you dare! If you're looking for some old time fun, take a wagon ride around the block. There will be vendors selling crafts and jewelry, and of course you can always shop our Scholastic Bookfair. Note: The Bellaire Garden Club's Annual Fall Plant Sale has been canceled due to drought this year.
