Pumpkin Patch 2007
Thanks to generous supporters, the hard work of countless volunteers, and some spectacular weather, our 2007 Pumpkin Patch was a huge success! We estimate that (over the 2 day weekend) 3,300 visitors came by to enjoy the games, activities, crafts and vendors spread out across our 4 acre Russ Pitman Park. Thanks to all who made the event run smoothly and helped us put on another great 2 day family event for our community!

Saturday, October 13 and Sunday, October 14 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Two days of fall festival fun! RAIN OR SHINE
Pumpkin Patch is an annual festival held at the Nature Discovery Center. You and your family can come pick up the perfect pumpkin for your front porch, enjoy kid's games and moonbounces in a carnival atmosphere, and more! This annual festival is a great, safe place for family fun, food, and games - and all the pumpkins on the lawn provide great photo opportunities.
While you're here you can paint a tombstone, have your face painted, or cross the devil's rope bridge...if you dare! If you're looking for some old time fun come and try out the hayride. They'll be vendors selling yard art and jewelry, and of course you can always shop our Scholastic Bookfair. If you've got a green thumb, you should plan to stop by the Bellaire Garden Club's Annual Fall Sale out back in the pavilion area. They'll start the sale at 8am, so your can come early and beat the crowd!
Special event helpers needed! Help children and families participate in activites on October 13 & 14 for our annual Pumpkin Patch festival. 3-hour shifts of 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. OR 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
