The Red-eared Slider Turtles

All of our Red-eared Sliders were rescued from roads and people’s back yards as babies. We can’t keep them for very long though, because they can live over 30 yrs and can grow over a foot long! They’re water turtles, and they are found in bodies of still fresh (not salty) water all over the Southeast part of the United States. They have big appetites, and they’ll eat all kinds of plants, small animals, and even dead things they find in the water.
