Willing Wednesday Workers

Our Willing Wednesday Workers are an amazing group of hardworking, dedicated, and talented individuals that meet every Wednesday morning at 10am under our pavilions (officially ? but they are here throughout the week when time permits or projects call for it). They work on a variety of projects for us and for the park from gardening to carpentry. They take on the small odd job that comes up, but they don?t shy away from larger more involved projects (like installing an irrigation system!) either. Their loyalty to Russ pitman Park and to the Nature Center is incredible and has endured for 20 years!

Though they always seem to be at work, the Willing Wednesday Workers know how to take a good break with good company. They stop to enjoy some yummy snacks and have a chat over a cup of coffee or tea.
